Miss Hannah

HELLO!! I just wanted to share with you all some information about myself and how I got to where I am today.

I started dancing when I was 3, attending Bojangles Dance School in Lichfield taking grades in Ballet and Modern Jazz up to Grade 6. I then achieved my Intermediate Ballet Grade at DanceTek School of Dance in Derby developing a true passion for dance.

I then went onto passing a BTEC Extended National Diploma in Dance studying in Burton and South Derbyshire College then going onto studying a Degree in Dance and Theatre Arts at Staffordshire University.

During my time at college and university I had the privilege to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, London Excel, Regent Theatre, Move It in London and The Brewhouse Theatre along with various other dance shows and flash mobs.

I started teaching dance whilst studying at university on work experience and I have now been teaching dance for over 10 years. During my time as a dance teacher I have gained many qualifications through the International Dance Teaching Association (IDTA). I have also completed many courses through the British Gymnastics Governing Body.

I have gained choreography skills within many different dance schools I have taught at, teaching different dance styles such as; Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Commercial, Acro Dance and Pointe.

I am DBS checked, insured and I hold a Level 3 First Aid qualification and Level 3 Safe-Guarding certificate.

I want to share my experience and knowledge with all my students. I want everyone to achieve the best they can and share that passion with me. My classes are fun, enjoyable and I always strive to build confidence in all of my students.

Miss Chloe

Chloe began classical training in dance at the age of 3. She developed her dancing ability/knowledge through completing BBO Examinations in Classical Ballet and Tap.

Chloe then furthered her dance training at Steelworks Performing Arts College, achieving a Triple Distinction Star.

After training, Chloe pursed her dance career and worked in Cyprus as a professional dancer. She then returned to the UK, working in UK events such as Award show and event shows.

Chloe has completed her Level 4 and 5 BBO Teaching Qualification and is now a full time freelance dance teacher working in local dance schools around Staffordshire. Chloe has been teaching freelance for over 3 years.

She is DBS checked, first-aid trained and has completed her safe-guarding course.

Chloe teaches Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Acro, Commercial and our Dinky Dancers class on Tuesday and Thursday evening at Simply Dance.

We love having her part of the ‘Simply Dance’ family.

Miss Elysia

Elysia began her dance journey at the age of 3. She has performed in some incredible theatres and has completed dance exams throughout the years.

Elysia then took her training on further at Birmingham Orminston Academy where she achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Dance.

Since assisting with myself from 2021, Elysia studied with British Ballet Organisation and achieved her Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching. Elysia is now a Freelance Dance Teacher throughout Stafford and Stone and is registered to start her Level 5 with BBO.

Elysia says, “I am so thankful for the opportunities Simply Dance has provided me throughout the years and is continuing to provide to better myself as a dance teacher. Simply Dance has been a massive part of my journey, and has helped make me the person I am today. Thank you Miss Hannah for all your support”
