HELLO!! I just wanted to share with you all some information about myself and how I got to where I am today.
I started dancing when I was 3, attending Bojangles Dance School in Lichfield taking grades in Ballet and Modern Jazz up to Grade 6. I then achieved my Intermediate Ballet Grade at DanceTek School of Dance in Derby developing a true passion for dance.
I then went onto passing a BTEC Extended National Diploma in Dance studying in Burton and South Derbyshire College then going onto studying a Degree in Dance and Theatre Arts at Staffordshire University.
During my time at college and university I had the privilege to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, London Excel, Regent Theatre, Move It in London and The Brewhouse Theatre along with various other dance shows and flash mobs.
I started teaching dance whilst studying at university on work experience and I have now been teaching dance for over 10 years. During my time as a dance teacher I have gained many qualifications through the International Dance Teaching Association (IDTA). I have also completed many courses through the British Gymnastics Governing Body.
I have gained choreography skills within many different dance schools I have taught at, teaching different dance styles such as; Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Commercial, Acro Dance and Pointe.
I am DBS checked, insured and I hold a Level 3 First Aid qualification and Level 3 Safe-Guarding certificate.
I want to share my experience and knowledge with all my students. I want everyone to achieve the best they can and share that passion with me. My classes are fun, enjoyable and I always strive to build confidence in all of my students.
